Fresh Berry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. (your choice) blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries or a combination of these
1 (9-inch) pie crust, prepared in pan and baked at 400~ for 10 to 15 minutes, until golden brown
1 c. cold water
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. powdered gelatin (strawberry or blackberry flavor)
Preparation

Combine cold water, sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan.
Bring to a rolling boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Mixture should clear and become thick.
Remove from heat.
Stir in gelatin powder.
Allow to cool to room temperature.
Fill the baked pie crust with berries.
Pour gelatin mixture over berries and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Top with whipped cream or vanilla yogurt if desired.
Serves 8.
