Czech Kolaches - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. milk, scalded
1 pkg. yeast
2 tsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
2 c. milk, scalded and cooled to lukewarm
2/3 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
8 c. flour
1 c. shortening, melted
2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Mix 1/2 cup milk, yeast, 2 teaspoons sugar and 2 tablespoons flour.
Let this mixture stand for 10 minutes.
Cream shortening, egg yolks, sugar, salt and milk.
Add this to first mixture.
Add the flour and knead well.
Cover and let rise in warm place until double in size.
