Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German cake mix
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    14 oz. caramels
    1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
    3/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix and bake half of it in a 9 x 13-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Melt caramels with milk and margarine. Spread half of caramel mixture over baked cake.
    Sprinkle half of chocolate chips and pecans.
    Pour in rest of cake mix.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Spread rest of caramel as frosting. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips and pecans.
