Herbed Tomato Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large ripe tomatoes
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    1/4 c. sliced green onions
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme or marjoram
Preparation
    Slice tomatoes, place in flat dish.
    Combine remaining ingredients and shake well. Pour over tomatoes.
    Cover and chill for several hours or overnight.
    At serving time, transfer tomato slices to platter.
    Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
