Mother'S Fruit Punch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (6 oz.) pkg. Jell-O
3 c. sugar
2 (12 oz.) cans frozen orange juice
2 (12 oz.) cans frozen lemonade
2 (48 oz.) cans pineapple juice
2 qt. ginger ale or 7-Up
1/2 gal. sherbet
Preparation

Dissolve Jell-O in 4 cups of boiling water.
Dissolve sugar in 6 cups of hot water and add to Jell-O mixture.
Add frozen orange juice and lemonade (diluted according to directions).
Add pineapple juice.
Dilute with additional water if too strong to taste.
Chill for several hours.
When ready to serve, add ginger ale and pour over sherbet placed in punch bowl.
Makes about 3 1/2 gallons or 60 cups.
