Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. flour
1 1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 c. boiling water
1/3 c. milk
2 large size eggs (yolks)
1/2 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. lemon juice (2 lemons)
grated rind of 1 lemon
1 (9-inch) cooked pie shell
egg whites (may need 3)
6 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. lemon juice or vanilla
Preparation

On stove, combine flour and sugar, then add boiling water, stirring constantly.
Add milk and cook until mixture thickens, stirring often.
Separate eggs, saving whites for meringue.
Add one yolk at a time, stirring until mixture is thick and sheets from spoon.
Add butter, lemon juice and rind; stir, then after cool, pour into baked pie shell.
