Satin Pie For 6 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. chocolate bits or squares
    1/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
    4 eggs, separated
    1 tsp. vanilla
    whipping cream
    baked pie shell (regular or graham cracker)
Preparation
    Mix chocolate, milk, sugar and salt over hot water in top of double boiler until blended and smooth.
    Cool slightly.
    Add egg yolks, beating well after each addition.
    Add vanilla.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and add to chocolate mixture.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
    Let stand 2 to 3 hours.
    Serve with whipped cream.
