Chess Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    1 box light brown sugar
    1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Melt on low heat margarine and brown sugar.
    Remove from heat and beat in this order:
    sugar, eggs, flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla and pecans.
    Pour into greased and floured pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes until done.
    Cut into bars.
