Pineapple Cheddar Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon gelatin
    1 c. boiling water
    1 (8 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Stir in pineapple with juice and sugar.
    Let cool.
    (You may put into freezer for a short time until it starts to gel.)
    Fold in remaining ingredients. Spoon into a 9-inch square pan.
    Refrigerate until firm.
