Holiday Fruit Drops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. candied fruit
    2 c. dates
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt and soda; set aside.
    Cream butter, sugar and eggs; beat until light and fluffy.
    Add buttermilk, vanilla and flour mixture.
    Mix well.
    Stir in nuts and fruit.
    Drop by teaspoons onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden.
    Store airtight.
    Can be frozen.
