Banana Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 2/3 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. buttermilk
3 eggs, separated (use yolks)
1 1/4 c. mashed bananas
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar; add egg yolks.
Mix well; add bananas and buttermilk.
Add dry ingredients.
Beat egg whites until very light.
Fold in batter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
