Chili(Heart Healthy) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick low-fat margarine or butter
    2 large white onions, chopped
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    4 tsp. chili powder
    3 tsp. salt
    dash of black pepper
    2 large cans stewed tomatoes, undrained and chopped
    2 large cans kidney beans, undrained
    14 oz. bottle ketchup
Preparation
    In a 4-quart saucepan, melt butter and saute onions until shiny and tender.
    Crumble in ground beef.
    Brown well, stirring until no longer pink.
    Sprinkle seasoning over.
    Mix.
    Add tomatoes, kidney beans and ketchup.
    Simmer 1 hour, stirring frequently.
    Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
