Cherry Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large angel food cake, cubed
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding
    1 c. sour cream
    6 c. milk (regular or skim)
    2 (21 oz.) cans lite cherry pie filling
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    Layer half of cake cubes in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    In bowl, combine pudding, sour cream and milk.
    Beat until smooth.
    Pour half of mixture over cake cubes.
    Spread 1 can of cherries over mixture.
    Repeat second layer.
    Chill at least 3 hours.
    Can be topped with ice cream.
