Nut Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3 tsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. flour
    1 c. nuts
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add beaten eggs.
    Add cocoa, flour, vanilla, nuts and salt.
    Pour in shallow pan and bake 20 minutes in moderate oven (about 350\u00b0).
    Will be about 1 inch thick.
