Apple-Cheese Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 medium apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. plus 12 Tbsp. water
1 c. shredded or grated sharp Cheddar cheese
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
Preparation

Toss apples in water and lemon juice.
Place in a lightly-greased baking dish (small oblong to medium Pyrex is best).
Combine flour, sugar and salt; cut in butter until resembles coarse meal.
Sprinkle flour mixture over apples.
Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes before removing from oven; sprinkle cheese cheese on top.
Serve.
Good with meats or anything.
