Toffee Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 large Hershey bar, melted
Preparation
    Cream butter thoroughly.
    Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
    Drop in egg and blend thoroughly.
    Add vanilla. Add flour, sifted with the salt, mixing well.
    Spread batter evenly in ungreased 10 x 15-inch pan.
    Bake 25 minutes at 350\u00b0. Remove from oven.
    Spread at once with melted chocolate and sprinkle with nuts.
    Cut into squares while still warm.
