Cherry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. cherry Jell-O
    2 c. hot water
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 large can crushed pineapple with liquid
    chopped pecans (if desired)
Preparation
    Dissolve cherry jello in hot water.
    Do not let congeal, but add the cherry pie filling, crushed pineapple with liquid and chopped pecans, if desired.
    Set in refrigerator to congeal.
    This congeals quickly.
    Lime Jell-O can be used also.
