Fresh Asparagus Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. minced onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. sliced asparagus
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    3 c. chicken broth
    6 Tbsp. cream
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter.
    Add asparagus and paprika; cook until asparagus turns bright green.
    Stir in chicken broth and cream. Heat to boiling.
    Combine cornstarch and water; stir into soup. Cook until thickened.
    Season with salt and pepper.
