Southern Chicken Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. bulk pork sausage
    4 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1/3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (13 3/4 oz.) can (1 3/4 c.) chicken broth
    2/3 c. milk
    2 c. cubed cooked chicken
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed
    1 recipe Savory Pastry
Preparation
    In saucepan, brown sausage and drain on paper towel.
    Pour out fat.
    In same pan, melt oleo.
    Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Stir in chicken broth and milk.
    Cook and stir until thickened. Cook 1 minute more.
    Add remaining; heat through.
    Top with Savory Pastry.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
