Ruth Decker'S Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium tart apples, pared, cooked and quartered
    1 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    3/4 c. quick rolled oats
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Put apples in greased 2-quart baking dish.
    Combine sugar, flour, oats and cinnamon.
    Cut in butter until crumbly, then press firmly over apples.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serve warm or chilled with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
    Serves 6.
