Easy Oven Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. stew beef (do not brown)
    1 large onion, sliced
    5 medium potatoes, cut up
    2 c. carrots, cut up
    1 c. celery, diced
    1 can tomato soup
    3 heaping Tbsp. Minute tapioca
    1 bay leaf (optional)
Preparation
    Layer beef, onion, potatoes, carrots and celery in roaster or crock-pot.
    Mix soup with one can of water and tapioca, salt and pepper to taste.
    Pour over all. Add bay leaf if desired.
    Bake covered at 250\u00b0 for 5 hours.
