Mildred'S Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. canned milk
    1/2 c. white Karo
    1 c. pecans
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar and cocoa.
    Add milk and syrup.
    Stir well. Cook over high heat, stirring constantly, to prevent sticking.
    (I use long handle wooden spoon.)
    When boils down, check in tap water.
    See if it feels like chewing gum, or use candy thermometer at 238\u00b0.
