Dough Wrapped Cream Cheese Appetizer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz.) blocks reduced-fat Philadelphia cream cheese
    can crescent rolls
    1 tsp. dried basil
    1 egg
Preparation
    Unroll crescent rolls; pinch seams of 4 rolls together to form a rectangle.
    Place cream cheese block on dough; sprinkle with basil.
    Wrap dough around cream cheese; pinch seams to seal. Place block wrapped with dough on baking sheet with seam down. Brush top of dough with egg; bake 20 minutes or until brown in 400\u00b0 oven.
    Serve with crackers.
