Uncooked Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg white, unbeaten
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar, egg white, cream of tartar and boiling water in a bowl. Mix thoroughly until icing stands in peaks (7-10 minutes). Add vanilla. Make sure cake is completely cool before icing.
