Aunt Mattie Winn'S Tea Cakes(Born February 12, 1876) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs, well beaten
4 c. flour
3 Tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
Add milk, vanilla, salt and baking powder; mix.
Add flour and mix well.
Drop onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes or until light brown.
