Homemade Pimentos - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. water
1/4 c. salt
2 c. vinegar
1/3 c. sugar
Preparation

Remove stem ends and seeds and cut peppers in half.
Cover 3 times with boiling water, allowing water to stand 3 minutes each time before draining.
Pack peppers in jar.
Boil ingredients for 10 minutes.
Fill jars to overflowing and seal.
Process pint cans 15 minutes.
One quart brine is enough for 3 pints.
