**Holiday Lizzies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. butter
    2 eggs, well beaten
    4 Tbsp. wine
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sweet milk
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 lb. pecans
    1 lb. chopped dates
    1 lb. candied cherries
    1/2 lb. candied green pineapple
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add well beaten eggs.
    Flour fruit and nuts with 1/2 of flour.
    Add remaining flour, soda, wine and milk to creamed mixture.
    Then add floured fruit and nuts to dough and mix well.
    Drop from teaspoon on greased cookie sheet and bake in slow oven (300\u00b0) for 25 minutes or less.
