Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 qt. popped corn
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Place popped corn in large dishpan that has been buttered on bottom.
    Boil sugar, syrup, salt and water until small amount forms a hard ball when dropped into cold water.
    Add vinegar and vanilla.
    Pour slowly over popped corn, stirring corn with long handled spoon to coat corn evenly.
    Butter your hands and shape into size balls desired.
    Let balls stand until brittle.
