Vegetable Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 apples, finely chopped
    2 peeled cucumbers, chopped
    1 to 2 celery leaves, chopped
    2 to 3 green tomatoes, chopped
    2 bell peppers, chopped
    1/2 small head cabbage, thinly sliced and chopped
    juice of 2 lemons
    small amount salt
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Mix well and stir in tight container.
    Keep refrigerated.
    Let stand about 1 week before serving.
    Mix sugar to taste if you like it sweet; or more vinegar if you like it sour.
