Potato-Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced potatoes
    2 c. water
    2 tsp. salt
    1 onion, sliced
    1 Tbsp. oil
    5 sprigs parsley (fresh)
    3 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    pinch of garlic powder
    1 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Cook potatoes and salt in water; reserve water.
    In skillet, saute onion in oil until soft.
    In blender, blend potatoes, potato water, onion, milk and parsley until smooth.
    Only fill blender halfway to avoid sticking.
    Return mixture to stove and, stirring continuously, add margarine, pepper, garlic powder and grated cheese.
