Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1 egg
juice of an 8 oz. can crushed pineapple
4 c. chopped apples, with skins on (3 Granny Smith apples)
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1 c. chopped salted peanuts
Preparation

Combine sugar and flour; add egg. Stir in vinegar and pineapple juice. Heat to soft boil. Remove from heat when thickened and cool. Combine in bowl: apples, crushed pineapple, Cool Whip and peanuts. Mix with cooled sauce and refrigerate.
