Banana Fruit Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    1 (12 oz.) can frozen orange juice
    1 (12 oz.) can frozen lemonade
    1 (24 oz.) bottle chilled ginger ale
    5 ripe bananas
    4 c. sugar
    6 c. water
    maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Mash bananas thoroughly and combine with juices.
    Combine sugar and water and boil for 5 minutes.
    Cool completely and add to banana mixture.
    Divide into three half gallon containers and freeze.
    Two hours before serving, remove from freezer and add ginger ale and drained maraschino cherries.
    Yields 50 cups.
