Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/4 c. catsup
    2 c. (16 oz.) tomatoes, cut up fine
    1 onion, chopped fine
    1 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Saute onion in shortening in skillet. Add ground beef.
    Cook until beef is brown, stirring frequently. Add salt, pepper, chili powder, tomato catsup, tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce.
    Simmer for 1 hour.
    Add water as needed while chili cooks for desired consistency. Serve with rice or over hot dogs or hamburgers.
