Peasant Spaghetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 clove garlic
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    4 or 5 small tomatoes
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. fresh basil
    dash of black pepper
    6 oz. pkg. spaghetti
Preparation
    Crush garlic clove with salt.
    Scald tomatoes, peel and cut into
    sections.
    Wash and chop basil. Add water, olive oil and dash of pepper.
    Let set about an hour for flavors to mix. Cook spaghetti al dente.
    Drain and add tomato mixture.
    Serve in soup bowl. Serves 4.
