Chocolate Snowballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine or shortening
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 2/3 c. sifted flour
    1/2 c. cocoa
    2 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla until fluffy.
    Sift flour with cocoa and add to creamed mixture.
    Use back of wooden or other large spoon to blend thoroughly.
    Add pecans, again using back of spoon to blend thoroughly.
    Dough will be very thick. Roll teaspoonfuls of dough into small balls and bake on ungreased nonstick baking sheet in 325\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
    Cool and roll in powdered sugar.
    Store in tins or other covered containers.
