Fireside Beans And Canadian Bacon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1/2 c. Karo dark corn syrup
    2 (1 lb.) cans baked beans
    1/2 lb. Canadian bacon, sliced
Preparation
    Mix ginger, onion and Karo and pour over beans in a 2 quart ovenproof casserole.
    Stir to mix well.
    Arrange bacon slices over top of beans.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 1 hour or until bubbly.
    During baking, baste bacon slices often with juices in casserole to glaze.
    Makes 6 servings.
