Ingredients

3 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. shortening
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs and pumpkin; mix.
Stir in dry ingredients.
Add vanilla.
Bake in greased and floured muffin pan for 15 to 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
