Creamed Asparagus Over Toast - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. oleo, melted
6 Tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
4 c. cooked asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces
1/2 c. cream of chicken soup
1/4 lb. thinly sliced chopped ham
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Add melted oleo to flour to make a paste.
Add the milk.
Stir over heat until thickened.
Add 1/2 cup cream of chicken soup. Add salt and pepper.
Chives or onion are optional.
Add the asparagus and chopped ham.
Serve hot over toast.
