Marinated Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. cabbage, finely shredded
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    3/4 c. salad oil
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Combine oil, vinegar, sugar, celery seed and salt.
    Bring to a rapid boil.
    Slowly pour hot mixture over cabbage, pepper and onion.
    Do not stir.
    Let set at least one hour.
    Chill.
