Cherry Sherbet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can (16 oz.) red tart cherries (undrained)
    1 can (8 1/4 oz.) crushed pineapple (undrained)
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. instant nonfat dry milk powder
    1/2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    few drops red food color
Preparation
    In blender container, blend undrained cherries and undrained pineapple at medium speed until pureed.
    Add remaining ingredients and blend until well combined.
    Pour into a 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Cover with aluminum foil.
    Freeze until frozen about 3 inches from edge, about 4 to 5 hours.
