Apple Pancakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    2 well beaten egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. milk
    4 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. finely chopped apples
    2 stiffly beaten egg whites
Preparation
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Combine egg yolks and milk. Pour into dry ingredients and stir well.
    Stir in butter and apples.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Let batter stand a few minutes, then bake on hot griddle.
