Strawberry Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries or 2 c. sliced fresh strawberries
2 egg whites
2/3 c. sugar for frozen strawberries or 1 c. sugar for fresh strawberries
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. Cool Whip (I use 8 oz. carton)

Preparation

Place first five ingredients into large mixing bowl. Beat on high speed for 20 minutes to form stiff peaks, don't underbeat. Fold in Cool Whip. Spoon mixture over crumbs; top with remaining crumbs.
