Chocolate Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sq. unsweetened chocolate (German chocolate may be used)
3 Tbsp. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation

Melt chocolate and butter over low heat.
In another saucepan combine sugar and syrup.
Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
Boil for 2 minutes.
Add chocolate mixture.
Add eggs and vanilla, stirring constantly.
Add pecans and mix in well. Pour mixture into pie shell.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until filling is puffed completely across top.
Cool before serving.
