Ginger-Cocoa Crisps - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. molasses
2 c. flour
1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
Preparation

Cream shortening; gradually add 1 cup sugar, beating at medium speed of an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
Add egg and beat well.
Stir
in
molasses.
Sift
flour and cocoa together; stir in soda,
ginger
and
salt.
Add
to
creamed mixture, stirring well.
