Yankee Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 to 5 lb.) roast
    8 potatoes, halved
    8 small onions
    8 carrots, halved
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Brown roast in Dutch oven,
    medium
    heat for 15 minutes. Add flour and water to make a gravy.
    Simmer roast until almost done and then add vegetables.
    Cook until tender.
