Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. flour (self-rising)
    1 1/4 c. corn meal
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 to 2 Tbsp. oil or bacon drippings
Preparation
    Put oil in iron skillet in hot oven (425\u00b0 to 450\u00b0) to melt. Do not burn.
    Mix dry ingredients well. Add milk and egg.
    Mix well. Add hot oil.
    Mix.
    Flour skillet and pour in bread mixture. Bake until brown, about 20 to 25 minutes.
