Potato Salad Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cook over medium to low heat until thick.
    Stir to keep from sticking.
    While cooling, add about a tablespoon butter or margarine.
    A couple of tablespoons of mayonnaise or salad dressing may be added.
    Pour over potatoes (that have been cooked in salted water).
    Celery, onions and celery seed may be added.
