Black Bean Tortilla Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. black beans
    1 large jar medium salsa
    1 small container sour cream
    1 small pkg. flour tortillas
    1 1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack/Colby cheese
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Prepare black beans as directed on package (wash, sort, bring to
    boil).
    Cook
    with
    1/2
    onion
    and 1/2 green pepper (chopped) in
    pot.
    Cook
    down
    then
    rinse
    beans, set aside. Saute the rest
    of
    onion and pepper in butter; set aside, mix with the beans.
    Layer
    tortillas
    in
    casserole sprayed with Pam. Alternate
    tortillas
    with
    beans, salsa, sour cream and cheese; top
    with remaining salsa and cheese.
    Bake covered 20 minutes in 375\u00b0 oven.
