Au Gratin Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 Tbsp. butter, divided
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. cheese, shredded
    4 c. cooked potatoes, diced
    1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
Preparation
    Melt 3 Tbsp. butter; blend in flour, salt and pepper.
    Stir in milk.
    Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat; stir in cheese.
    Layer 1/2 of potatoes and 1/2 of cheese sauce in 2 quart casserole.
    Repeat.
    Melt 2 Tbsp. butter; stir in bread crumbs and sprinkle over top.
    Bake 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
