Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small box strawberry Jell-O
    3 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 pt. strawberries
    1 pie shell, baked
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cornstarch in a medium size saucepan.
    Add water and Jell-O.
    Cook on low heat until thick and clear.
    Stir constantly.
    Cool to room temperature.
    Slice strawberries in pie shell.
    Pour mixture over berries.
    Refrigerate.
    Cover with Cool Whip when cold.
